In this artwork the palm tree takes on human behaviour. The palm tree is looking at itself in a mirror just like a human would do. It is presented inside a room that seems to be the outside world at the same time. In the work the viewer is confronted with two different questions about their place in the work. Is the viewer in the same room with the palm tree or is the viewer the palm tree? Depending on each question the work can be interpreted in different ways.
