The piece is done from a photograph of a real tree, yet instead of using the colours in the photograph, I used different colours. In the moment I used these colours based on my imagination, the painted tree gets detached from reality. To get the name of the piece, I downloaded an app that recognizes plants and trees. I used the app on the painting, which gave me the name of the piece. According to the colours the app recognizes, it generates the name of a real tree, attaching the tree back to reality. However, it is a different kind of tree from the one in the photograph.
